BRILUMD® – Official Shipping and Returns Policy

Effective Date: October 5, 2025 Applies To: All transactions conducted through official BRILUMD® e-commerce platforms and direct sales channels for delivery within the Republic of the Philippines and to authorized international destinations.

Article 1: Order Processing and Dispatch

  • 1.1. Processing Time: All orders are processed within one (1) to three (3) business days following payment verification. Processing times exclude weekends and official Philippine public holidays.
  • 1.2. Carriers: The Company shall dispatch orders via reputable domestic and international carriers, which may include LBC, J&T Express, DHL, FedEx, and others at the Company’s discretion.
  • 1.3. Confirmation: Upon dispatch, the Purchaser will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number to monitor the shipment’s status.

Article 2: Shipping and Delivery

  • 2.1. Delivery Estimates:
    • Domestic (Philippines): Three (3) to seven (7) business days.
    • International: Seven (7) to twenty-one (21) business days. These timeframes are non-binding estimates. The Company shall not be held liable for delays attributable to customs processing, inclement weather, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).
  • 2.2. Shipping Fees: All shipping and handling fees shall be calculated at the point of sale based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. These fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched.
  • 2.3. Purchaser’s Responsibility for Address: The Purchaser is solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. The Company shall not be liable for losses or delays resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the Purchaser.

Article 3: International Shipments: Customs and Duties

For any shipment destined outside the Philippines, the Purchaser acts as the importer of record. All applicable import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser and are not included in the Product price or shipping fees. The Company is not responsible for any delays or issues arising from customs procedures.

Article 4: Risk of Loss and Damaged Shipments

  • 4.1. Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage to Products shall pass to the Purchaser upon the Company’s delivery of the order to the designated carrier.
  • 4.2. Damaged Shipments: In the event of a lost or damaged shipment, the Purchaser must notify BRILUMD® Customer Support within seven (7) calendar days of the scheduled or actual delivery date. The Company will facilitate the claims process with the carrier on behalf of the Purchaser

Article 5: Order Cancellation

Order cancellations are permissible only prior to the order’s dispatch from our facility. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled and shall be subject to the terms of the Returns Policy herein.

Article 6: Returns and Refunds Policy

This section governs the terms for all product returns and is formulated in compliance with the Consumer Act of the Philippines (R.A. 7394).

  • 6.1. Returns for Defective Products: Pursuant to R.A. 7394, Products confirmed to be defective or damaged upon receipt shall be eligible for repair, replacement, or a full refund. Any such defect must be reported within seven (7) calendar days of receipt, accompanied by photographic evidence.
  • 6.2. Voluntary Returns for Non-Defective Products: At its sole discretion, the Company may accept voluntary returns of non-defective products subject to the following strict conditions:
    • The return is initiated within thirty (30) calendar days of purchase.
    • The Product is in a pristine, resalable condition: unused, unopened, and in its complete original packaging.
    • A twenty percent (20%) restocking fee shall be deducted from the refund amount.
  • 6.3. Return Authorization (RMA): A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from Customer Support before any product is returned. Returns without a valid RMA number will be refused.
  • 6.4. Return Shipping Costs: The Purchaser is responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a verified product defect or a shipping error by the Company.

Article 7: Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Policy and all transactions hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines.

Article 8: Policy Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend or modify this Policy at its sole discretion, without prior notice. The updated Policy will be posted on the official BRILUMD® website and shall be effective immediately upon posting.
